Nat Tauber Shown at World Series VI
Nat Tauber has been a stand out defensive player for the NYPD BLUES for many years now. Nat is the glue that holds the NYPD BLUES infield together and will always be found in the action due to his sense of the game and desire to be a playmaker.
Nat came on to the circuit in 2001 and since day one was recognized as one of the top shortstops in the country. Nat has been called the “The Human Highlight Reel” by many of his peers on the circuit due to the plays he has made over his career. Last year Nat was a huge part of the Blues successful run at the World Series and this year he has only solidified his importance to the team with his stellar defense.
When you watch Nat play, you quickly get a sense of his dedication, ability and his intense desire to get to the ball. Nat is surely a difference maker on his team and it is fair to say the Blues would be impacted if they did not have him locking down the middle of their defense year in and year out.
For the season Nat has had this year and for his strong foundation of past great performances playing in one of the most demanding positions of our sport, Nat Tauber is our East Coast Defensive Player of the Year.
