The People's Poll Announces the West 11-21. Jan 17, 2009
Concord/OSS Leads the Second Wave of the West People's Poll
This installment of the People's Poll showed there are a lot of questions. This wave of the People's Poll had a lot of first year teams and/or a lot of teams that may be going through a rebuilding phase. First off will the new look Concord team be able to break into the top 10 for 2009? Will the new CenCal team be as strong as the first year Aftershock were last year? Will the new BP Elite team live up to the hype? Will the Razorbacks have the breakout year people have been waiting for? Will the SD Force and LAPD Lawmen play like they are capable of? Will Stanislaus continue to ride their momentum of 2008? PS.com feels this grouping of 11-21 is bound to start changing as the season gets under way and expect to see some of these teams on people's top 10 list very soon!

The People's Poll Announces the East 11-20. Bluegrass Leads the Second Division Voting!!! Jan 14, 2009
These are dangerous teams but consistency is what they will need to impress the voters.
The next group of teams as voted on by the people............11) Bluegrass Lawmen: Bunch of young guys on the verge of learning the ins/outs of this game. If this team plays to their ability, watchout! The hillbillys can flat out hit and drink. A team on the rise. This team can flat out play. But, they face the same hurdles in moving up in the rankings. Can they play enough of the big ones to move to the top 10? We shall see! They can beat any team in the country in pool play but when the elimination games begin their lack of defense kills them. Best drinkers on the east coast..........12) Dirty Jersey Boys: Can they keep up the pace with big boys, back to back top 10 will prove it. They lost some sticks. Which team will they field in 2009? That may be the only question for these guys! Who can tell with the State of NJ - they mix and match than the contents of a bag of planters trail mix with players. Must deal with the illegal bat issue in NY which allegedly no one knew about. Dirty John is the face of this team and with him they will be ok..................13: Motor City Blues: New additions great leadership will end up at the finals at some tourney's this year. Best team to ever go 0-4 at the World Series. Andy P. needs to believe in this team and the team needs to believe in him. Might just be the best up and coming squad around. Added some talent to an already good team. Can they make the move? They are building a team the right way - through an ever developing farm system and staying away from the over priced free agent market. Andy Pawlik is a true quality leader. Andy P is what police softball is all about.

The First People's Poll of 2009. The East Top 10!!! Jan 13, 2009
The Rock and Spinelli departure from the Blues Solidify an already strong NY Metro
The PS.com community said they wanted a people’s poll where the masses could be heard. The people’s poll represents the ranking as well as many of the comments the people sent in. So here it is. The first people’s poll of 2009. There are no huge surprises but it is obvious the move of the 2007 East Coast Player of the Year James Rouchio and Hall of Famer Dan Spinelli from the Blues to Metro only solidified Metro as the team to beat in the East. While the loss of these two players will hurt any team, many of our voters felt NYPD would re-load instead of re-build. It is obvious Jax PSC is still among the top 2 of the most feared teams in the East and will be trading knock out blows with Metro all season long. With a Dayton win and a World Series #3 in 2008, MSP got a lot of love from the pollsters but the only question is if they can maintain that or will they stumble like the Buckeye Lawmen after their great Dayton and World Series run of 2007? The late season additions of SoFlo resonated well with people who expect them and their new addition of Big Albert to make them a serious top 5 contender. Lastly, the big shock were the Ohio Lawmen. The Lawmen have won a world series, played in the finals of another World Series and finished 5th in a 45 team field at the 2008 World Series. If this team needs some motivation, the people’s poll may bring it. So here are your top 10 in the East with the rest coming at you soon.
