Dan began his prestigious career playing in 1979 as thes Palm Springs left fielder and usually batted 3rd. or 4th. In 1985 Dan took over as team manager and has maintained that role ever since. Although the years eventually took their toll and forced him into playing first base, he remained a power hitter for them throughout the 1990's. Dan started the Palm Springs tournament in 1988 and quickly became one of the most traveled to tournaments on the west coast. Dan has proven throughout the years to be an extremely solid softball player, a loyal and dedicated coach, an outstanding tournament director and most importantly, a true friend to the entire police softball community.
