Darrel was active in the Police Softball circuit from the mid-80's until 1999. During that time, Darrel led the vaunted Razorback team to several prestigious titles including Gold Medals at the Arizona and Nevada Police and Fire Games as well as Silver in the California Police Olympics. Darrel was a leftfielder with a cannon arm and a great homerun and high average hitter in the aluminum bat era.More than a player, Darrel's hard work enabled Sac to travel nationwide on multiple occasions.
