The big merger was certainly a good thing for both Buckeyes and Kentucky. Although there was a natural split on the team due to geography, you certainly don't see it in the dugout. If they had a weakness it was an inconsistent line-up. They had a huge roster but rarely got the same team on the field on any given weekend. Obviously a disappointing World Series drops them a tad in the rankings but they will be fine in 2011. No brand new team (despite the talent) can be expected to gel the first year and win a bunch of tourneys. Instead they had a very solid year as expected and should be better next year. "Team runs on emotion which is good or bad depending on how they are playing."
