2026 Hall of Fame Class Announcement
WEST INDUCTEES
Danny Torres: Danny’s greatest accomplishment is what he has done for the game Police Softball. Through Danny’s leadership and mentorship the state of Texas has exploded with teams participating in the PoliceSoftball.com World Series. When Lone Star / The Texas Cartel first attended the World Series in Las Vegas there were two Texas teams attending the tournament. There are now at least 7 with more to follow, largely in part to Danny’s mentorship encouragement and example. Lone Star, formerly the Texas Cartel, has been attending the PoliceSoftball.com World Series longer than any other Texas team.
Milton Stewart: Milton “Jay” Stewart started playing police softball in 2009 and with Team Texas. He is currently playing with SA Law and throughout his softball career he has won multiple medals in Texas including the Mid-Major World Series in 2016 with an All-Tournament award. As a recent recipient of his induction into the 2026 Class of the Texas Police Athletic Federation Hall of Fame for Softball. Jay’s legacy extends far beyond athletic achievement. His commitment to service, brotherhood, mentorship, and community uplift exemplifies the character of a true National Hall of Fame honoree.
Mike Snyder: Former Alliance founder/coach Jeff Blair said: “During his era Mike was the most dominating force in police softball for many years. In the 2012 World Series his on base percentage was over 900, and he played stellar defense and was arguably the best and most aggressive base runner in the circuit. Most importantly, he's the most loyal teammate I have ever played with. He would simply put our alliance team on his back and carry us to championships.” L.A. Blue Coach, David Braun said of Mike: “Mike is one of, if not the best player he has ever been around, but as great as he is, he is an even better teammate.” Some of Mikes’ awards and accomplishments include: 2012 West Coast Player of the Year, 2012 Majors Division World Series MVP and 8 time (yes, 8) Major Division World Series Champion.
David Braun: LA BLUE would like to nominate our fearless leader and brother David Braun aka Braunie. Braunie has been a staple of the police softball world since the very beginning. His career started during the police academy when his DI was contacted by the powers at be for LAPD BLUE to notify him that Braunie would be missing some academy time due to his services being needed elsewhere, WORLD SERIES I. He was pulled out of the academy (after getting sworn in) to play in the very first World Series where he had an immediate impact. Since this day, Braunie has been one of few players who can say that he has played in every World Series, all at the Major Division level. - 5X Major World Series Champion (2014, 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024) - 2021 Masters Champion - 2023 World Series MVP- 2025 Manager of the Year- Proud Member of the ALL Decade Team.
EAST INDUCTEES
Travis Morgan - Long time perennial shortstop with Chicago Metro. Several team World Series Championships. Former DPOTY and hits it everywhere. In 2014 Travis was named the Police Softball Defensive POY and has continued his stellar play on both sides of the ball while playing not only for Chicago Metro, but also filling in for numerous major and mid-major teams such as Great Lakes, Louisville, South Florida, and Kentucky. During that time, Travis has accumulated numerous All-Tourney selections and accolades. Travis has amassed two more World Series rings (2023 Gold, 2025 Silver) and All-World selections while remaining one of the best shortstops at ant level of Police Softball for more than a decade. He never misses a game and continues to play at a high level today which is why Travis Morgan is more than deserving of the honor of becoming a member of the Police Softball Hall of Fame.
Don Painter - 30+ Years competing on numerous teams from the State of Michigan. Very dedicated. Don has earned multiple All-Tournament Team honors, consistently standing out as a clutch performer, especially in high-pressure moments. What truly sets Don apart is his power at the plate. As noted by PoliceSoftball.com co-founder Jeff Blair in the Players to Watch feature:
“Don Painter – Metro Detroit’s Finest. Very few players have TWO World Championships on their resume, and Don is one of them. He won the title with Motor City Blues and with Metro Detroit. He also plays on the Great Lakes Masters teams. Don could be the most prolific home run hitter in the Gold Division, so if the situation warrants, a team would be wise to pitch around this slugger.”
Craig Singleton - Ohio Lawmen. Long time player with the great Ohio Lawmen and Won the inaugural PS.COM World Series. He is an outstanding hitter with plenty of power. Singleton has played, coached in our circuit for over 25 years. During that time he earned numerous awards, and won many championships while playing with the Ohio Lawmen and Kentucky Blue. Singleton has played in 5 police softball World Series championships as a middle of the order power hitter with the Ohio Lawmen. During that decade of dominance, he played a key role in the Ohio Lawmen winning WS I in Palm Springs, as well as 3 national championships in Dayton Ohio.
Singleton was also nominated to play as a member of the Legends team in the World Series Legends vs. NWO all star game. As all HOF members know, only the elite players of the past decade were selected to be apart of that team.
Billy Boyd - Suffolk County Lawmen. One of the best outfielders on our circuit, plenty of speed and makes diving catches look normal for him. Hits for a very high average and is the consummate respectful player at all times. Billy joined the circuit as soon as he became a police officer, and he’s been with the Suffolk County Lawmen ever since. He is currently a Sergeant in the Marine Bureau, where he continues to serve his community with the same commitment and professionalism he brings to the game.
Our longtime centerfielder has unbelievable range with his smooth stride and great instincts making him a defensive asset game after game. Offensively, he’s been a dangerous hitter throughout his career, always capable of turning the tide of a game with one swing. His play helped lead the Suffolk County Lawmen to a Mid-Major Championship being named a Mid-Major All-World player in the process. Billy had earned team MVP, and received multiple tournament player awards over the years.

Congratulations to all the newly inducted members and as always, they will be recognized on the field during our World Series Opening Ceremony on Friday October 9 on Wrigley Field at Las Vegas Big League Dreams.
Here are our Hall of Fame Criteria: The nominee must be at least 45 years old and have made a SIGNIFICANT impact in our sport as a player or manager. Nominees must meet the PS.COM eligibility standards. Special Hall of Fame appointments for civilians can only come from Hall of Fame Committee Coordinators.
