Gold Division Defensive Player of the Year

LEO VARGAS JR.- MoKAN GUNS

The Missouri/Kansas Guns (MoKan) are a team on the rise and that is in part due to the stellar defensive play of middle infielder Leo Vargas Jr.  Leo has elite anticipation, lightning-fast reflexes, and flawless fundamentals that turn surefire hits into routine outs.  World Champion Manager (Missouri Lawmen) Joe Monahan surmised Leo’s ability in this description, “Leo could be a starting middle infielder on any Majors team in the nation.”   Joe was so impressed with Leo’s skills that he is one of the few Gold Division players to be selected for the wooden bat All Star Game playing for Team Swami against Team Clown.  He will be recognized on the field during our opening ceremony, and of course you can see him play for yourself in the marquee All Star game at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Note:  Instead of traditional East/West honors for DPOTY and Player of the Year, we instead are recognizing the Gold/Majors divisions.  We will announce the Majors DPOTY this weekend.
