Skip Stephenson

Skip joined the San Diego Red Softball Club in 1975. Skip was an excellent leadoff hitter who developed an outstanding opposite field shot. Skip has a lifetime batting average near .700 as recently as the 2006 Tahoe tourney, hit .800 at age 55. Skip began as a shortstop and over the years became a pitcher. Over the years Skip has been a part of over 20 medals won by San Diego Police Teams and in 2007, he coached the Socal Alliance to a victory at the PoliceSoftball.com World Series.
