2024 Sponsor of the Year Announced

We have dedicated our annual SPONSOR OF THE YEAR award to long time police softball sponsor Vaughan Garrett, formerly of Garrett Metal Detectors. For 25+ years Vaughn has been involved in sponsoring Team Texas and others from the Lone Star State before moving his generosity to the Police Softball World Series. He has sponsored the players party for several years since the event was moved to Las Vegas. Vaughan is also the creator of the OPOC/Outstanding Police Officer of the Community Award which will still be recognized and coordinated through PS Hall of Famer Kevin Schoch and Garrett Metal Detectors. Since Vaughan has now retired we will be naming the award in his honor due to his 25 years of support to police softball.

This year the Vaughan Garrett SPONSOR OF THE YEAR award will be awarded to GARY McCLAFLIN of Wilmington Propeller Service. Gary sponsors the Sacramento Razorbacks softball club and is known for his unwavering generosity and love for the sport of police softball. He attends most of the tournaments and can be found quietly blending into the crowd while cheering on his Razorbacks. Congrats Gary, well deserved.
